This bright berry beet smoothie is an antioxidant powerhouse. Mixed berries, beetroot and chia seeds provide the nutritional value. Throw in a handful of kale or spinach for an extra boost if you like.

A frozen banana and medjool dates give this smoothie natural sweetness.

    • 1 cup frozen mixed berries (blueberries, raspberries or strawberries)
    • 1 frozen banana
    • 2-3 medjool dates
    • 1 cup cooked and peeled beetroot
    • 1 cup almond milk
    • 1 tablespoon chia seeds

Blend all together – add a splash of water if you think it’s too thick. Sprinkle  some extra chia seeds over the top. power smoothie
